Atascadero Brews and Burgers Trail Offers Flavorful Fun for Everyone
The Central Coast is home to miles upon miles of wine tasting trails, but sometimes travelers are looking for an experience that’s a little more laid back and family friendly. Visit Atascadero fills this tourism need with its new Atascadero Brews and Burgers Trail.
This unique, edible adventure is fun for the whole family with juicy burgers, games and a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. For adults, it’s always Hoppy Hour here, with a vast assortment of local brews.
Verdin worked with Visit Atascadero to capture their city’s simply genuine, down-to-earth feel in all of the campaign’s advertising and collateral, including an interactive Brews and Burgers Trail Map.
One collection of images and videos featured a family enjoying quality time together over patties and pilsners (and lemonade) at local hot spot Slyvester’s Burgers and playing games at Tent City Beer Company. The other offered a front-row seat to a couple’s date night at Street Side Ale House and The Raconteur Room to show the trail’s versatility and wide appeal.
The custom-made Brews and Burgers Trail map marks Atascadero’s breweries and restaurants with color-coded icons of frothy pints and burgers, respectively. Burger locations include other local favorites, like Dan’s Grub Shack and A-Town Diner, and popular chains like In-n-Out.
For beer, there’s Dunbar Brewing Public House, which specializes in English- and Irish-style ales, Tent City Beer Company, The Raconteur Room and Dead Oak Brewing Company. Atascadero also has a locally owned and operated cider house, Bristol’s. All of these establishments and more are located not far off Highway 101 within city limits.
In Atascadero, simple pleasures reign supreme. The Brews and Burgers Trail is a true embodiment that slower, sweeter lifestyle. Flavorful fun is just a short trip away. What are you waiting for?
