How will you take time to slow down this summer?
The town of Atascadero offers many opportunities. Build in that “down time” before your calendar reaches capacity!
Atascadero is a friendly town on California’s Central Coast where family time really happens. Strolling through its historic streets will have you feeling like you’ve traveled back in time. Here are a few ways you can enjoy summer in a small town this year:
Take a spin.
The beautiful Atascadero Lake is located right in the middle of town. Here, families can take a stroll, play at the park or visit the Charles Paddock Zoo. In the heat of summer, water sports are also offered on the lake! Take your family or friends out paddle boating or kayaking. If you don’t have a board or kayak, there is a rental station located on the playground side of the park that you can visit.

Summertime in Atascadero means delicious weekly experiences.
