“From Farm to Fable” for 75 Years at the Salinas Valley Fair
Get ready for fair foods, fuzzy friends and festivities May 16-19 at the Salinas Valley Fair in King City, California!
Verdin worked with the Salinas Valley Fair to develop a campaign for this year’s theme “Farm to Fable.” The Verdin team aimed to create something fun and whimsical, evoking fond fair memories of petting zoos, carnival rides and showing livestock. Then our designers brought the theme to life with hand-illustrated barnyard animals that invite potential fair-goers to the Salinas Valley Fair.
For 75 years the Salinas Valley Fair has brought friends, families and farmers together to celebrate local agriculture. This year the fair will be hosting several events you won’t want to miss.
On opening day, Thursday, May 16, and stop by the Salinas Valley Fair Grand Tasting to try fantastic wine, brews and food. Thursday will also a great day to take your family to the carnival — kids 12 and under get in free! That night, look to the skies for a celebratory fireworks show.
Throughout the weekend you will have the chance to attend the 4×4 Hot Rod Truck Pulls, Junior Livestock Auction, Jaripeo Mexican Bull Riding and much more.
From pig races to magic shows, each day you explore the fairgrounds you’ll find something new!
