Local Pet Owners Will Soon Have Access to 24-Hour Emergency Pet Care
Your sweet, innocent puppy is taking a nap on the kitchen floor one moment, and the next he or she is in the living room coughing up tinsel.
While we wish that our furry companions would choose convenient times to schedule their medical emergencies, most pet owners will tell you that doesn’t usually happen. Unfortunately, pets seem to have a knack for eating something non-edible right after your local veterinarian’s office closes for the evening.
Well-known and respected local veterinarian Dr. Joel Conn is addressing this major need for pet owners through the creation of PETS (Pet Emergency Treatment Services) Hospital, a brand new 24-hour veterinary emergency and urgent care center in Orcutt, CA. Scheduled to open on December 17, the hospital will be the only pet emergency room in the Santa Maria area.
The staff at PETS Hospital is a team of experienced doctors and veterinary technicians, many of whom have worked in the community for years. They are are committed to providing compassionate care to every four- or two-legged patient that walks through the PETS Hospital doors. Rather than competing for the business of local veterinarians, PETS Hospital will providing complimentary services by offering emergency care when veterinarian offices are closed or unable to immediately take new patients, and will refer patients to local vet offices for general pet care.
All of us pet owners at Verdin are certainly looking forward to breathing easier with the opening of the hospital. You’ll soon be able to learn more about its offerings at petsurgentcare.com. But in the meantime, keep your puppy away from that tinsel!
