Timeless, Romantic, Gorgeous, Celestial. That’s This Year’s French Hospital Gala Theme, “Written in the Stars.”
On August 24, 2019, the ACI Jet Center at the SLO Airport will be transformed into an elegant destination for fine wine, food and music, to raise funds for the French Hospital Foundation. This year’s Louis Tedone, MD, Humanitarian Award will be presented to Rick Stollmeyer, CEO of MINDBODY, for his efforts in helping people live happier and healthier lives. The event starts at 5pm.
The funds from this year’s gala will benefit the “Beyond Health, Your New French Hospital,” expansion which will redefine health care in San Luis Obispo County with the transformation of the hospital campus. This expansion will create the hospital of the future, surpassing the needs of the growing community through new advanced technology and skilled personnel. The project is slated for groundbreaking in 2019, with anticipated completion in 2022.
Year after year, Verdin has the privilege of working with the French Hospital Medical Foundation to bring life to their annual gala. This year’s romantic theme of “Written in the Stars” inspired a dreamy and timeless design that is portrayed through all of the event’s promotional content.
This is a black-tie event with festivities including craft cocktails, silent and live auctions, and a four-course celestial inspired gourmet dinner from Trumpet Vine Catering.
